It was 137 today!!!

What is the significance of this number? you ask. Lottery numbers? my weight? nope...none of the above. This is the number that came back today on my cat Sebastian's blood glucose. We have been battling his diabetes diagnosis and finding the right kind and amount of insulin for over 4 months now. After nearly weekly visits to the vet for blood tests and trying two different kinds of insulin, it seems we have finally found the right mix. Over the past few months his numbers have been as high as nearly 500 and as low as 170 (normal is 70-159)...but today, he was 137!!! He has been much more active over the past month including playing with his toy, being more vocal, and engaging the dogs in a little fist fight when he gets a chance. I can't even express how happy I am that he seems to be on the upswing. Please keep my "baby" in your thoughts.
